Senator Lee Meaba: Patriotism, Protection and National Prosperity

Senator Lee Meaba has distinguished himself through his selfless service in the current administration.  By far the most enduring legacy of Senator Lee Maeba today is the passage into law, the Act to provide for the Development of Nigeria Content in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry which he sponsored in the Senate.
The Act gives Nigerian independent operators first consideration in the award of oil blocks, oil field licenses, oil lighting licenses, and in all projects for which contract is to be awarded in the nation’s oil and gas industry.
Senator Lee Maeba; Chairman senate committee on Petroleum resources (up-stream) is a man that has show patriotism, has ensured protection and has stood out for the prosperity of the Nation and its Nationals.
The distinguished Senator counts on you for continuity in 2011 as he is prepared to carry on the tasks under the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Vote for a tested achiever, vote for a better Nigeria.

No doubt, Senator Lee Maeba is a man that not only Ogoni people can count on but the whole of Rivers State. His contribution to the national and state economy is embedded in his numerous bills in the Senate. He is the only politician that we know carries his people along; his residence in Portharcourt is open to hundreds of people every day. When you see a true leader, you can tell – and Senator Lee Maeba is one true leader. As a leader, you must have to show that you have vision, objectives and show her you can use sticky strategies and tactics to convert that into result. Senator Lee Maeba has done that through his vigorous sponsoring of improvement bills in the Senate. I personally thought, if Senator Lee Maeba could have the opportunity to having the resources of Rivers state in his sway, he will turn the state into a mini Texas. If there is any one that deserves continuity, it is Lee Maeba. I believe that because of the firing spirit in him and the hope of people he carries as a light he will succeed.
Besides sponsoring “the Act to provide for the Development of Nigeria Content in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry that gives Nigerian independent operators first consideration in the award of oil blocks, oil field licenses, oil lighting licenses, and in all projects for which contract is to be awarded in the nation’s oil and gas industry”, Senator Lee Maeba fought to make Rivers State polytechnic a federal university and brought the department of gas and petroleum studies to the school, and the creation of Bori State. If you want to help other, you must show how to help your people first – that is what is meant by charity begins at home. Senator, whatever you decide to contest for under PDP in 2011 is yours because you are a people’s person.
